Today's politics, more than ever, are about dominance. The virtualization of the world by electronic media is changing the wars for dominance from playing out organized battlefield gore to decimating social chaos, delivered to you through the social media you so readily become addicted to. "Divide and Conquer." This is the new old paradigm exploited by today's seekers of dominance.

The Islamic jihad rages through the Muslim world is both stimulus and distraction. It was initially funded and supported by Saudi Arabia, NATO nations, Iran, Turkey and Russia. To what end? What inspired the predominantly Christian and increasingly irreligious West to stir the murky political waters in collusion with Saudi Arabia? What caused Russia to support Iran and Assad in Syria?

Whatever the complexities may be, the net issue is boiling down to a battle against individualism and social oppression. While ostensibly uniting against ISIS, the powers involved are less ostensibly uniting behind the autocratic religion of Islam. Islam, after all, has worked for the Iranians and Saudi Arabians. I has justified the most severe oppression of civil and human rights. It has supported autocracy by royals in Saudi Arabia and clerics in Iran. The pro-royalist West has sided with the Saudi royalists. The anti-royalist and pro-autocratic Russians have sided with Iran. Most likely the Chinese as well.

The elites of the world are testing a huge human population in anticipation of predictable and inevitable shortages of natural resources. Islam has provided a ready-made vehicle. About one quarter of the human world population is Muslim. 26% or 1.6 billion, which is 200 million more people than the population of China, perhaps the world's largest non-religious population. By 2030, 10% of Europe's population is expected to be Muslim. The density of Muslim population in some European countries will far outweigh that in others. The important figure, though, is the acceleration of that density by high birthrate. The European Muslim population was only 4% in 1990.

The elites' romance with Islam is obvious. Dubai, for example, a city in a regressive Muslim aristocratic state, is a playground for global elites, who glory in the near-slave labor of the imported immigrants from other parts of the Muslim world. It is comparable to the luxuriating of the ancient Greek and Roman elites when they invaded or visited ancient Egypt, a state serviced by massive unregulated slave labor which exceeded that of either of the European empires.
The paradox of enabled infantile narcissism by the creation of controllable virtual realities in combination with heightened surveillance leading to conformity of thought/action is aptly named "mass distraction". Marshall McLuhan, the phenomenal scientific oracle, prophesized this current reality beginning in his 1967 publication, The Media Is The Message. His vision was mocked by many at the time. That time, like today, was plagued with a general miasma over the role of the U.S. in foreign affairs. Fear over the Cold War, like today's fears minted by governmental propaganda about terrorism, prompted the majority population in The West to be conformist and compliant. That soon ended in 1968, beginning with the protests by students in France.
What will break today's trance under media-produced "mass distraction"? The West has been nudged by Nigel Farage, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. But Angela Merkel and Hillary Clinton are singing lullabies to put us back to sleep. The lyrics are along the lines of "We have nothing to fear from Islamic ideology. Muslims are fine upstanding citizens. Illegal migration is not invasion. Russia is the real enemy." These platitudes have worked so far. How long can they work when average people actually find themselves directly effected by seismic cultural assault? I think Brexit was one example of what can happen. I think current discussion about a European border army is another.
Armies are not the solution. Neither is telling populations under environmental and population pressures to move to the back of the bus to make more room for immigrants. In the minds of those in power, manipulation of populations is the answer. Through whatever means are convenient to them. They always draw the line between the herd and themselves as the herders. They are less benign than herders, as millions learned in WWI and WWII. They are heartless predators.

All living things ... including human animals ... are opportunistic. This is a fact of Nature. The human conundrum began with evolutionary transformation of homo sapiens from hunter-gatherer to cultivator-herder. This evolutionary step began humans' independence from natural planetary environments. So, unlike elephants or rattle snakes, humans can adapt to living anywhere they can accumulate food/fuel sources and devise shelter to cover their needs, despite weather patterns. So, human beings have invaded every part of Planet Earth.

The current climatic correction, caused by human dependence on fossil fuels to grow food, heat habitation and move people/goods as desired, comes from unchecked human opportunism. The climate change which may decimate the human species eventually will be 100% natural, even if man-made. Man, after all, is part of Nature. Extinction of human beings may simply be  the natural effect of mindless human causation.

"Mind", in the sense of frontal lobe consciousness capable of intent, is also 100% natural. It is another evolutionary adaptation of the human brain, developed in part by the earliest pressures of environmental degradation by unconscious human behaviors. It is a neurological defense against stress and animal behaviors which are self-destructive. The greater the propensity of the species as a whole to be self-destructive, the greater the reaction in some adaptive humans who withdraw from that self-destructive behavior to survive. Causation and result.

The current evolutionary struggle in the human species is how to integrate mindfulness, an adaptive abstract defense, into the established crowd behaviors of humans. These behaviors are also 100% natural. If you have ever watched a video of ungulate herds on an African savannah, you know that one member of the herd is often more aware than others around it. That herd member will signal defensive behaviors when it senses a predator in the high grass. However, despite efforts to communicate that observation to its herd mates, the majority of the herd does not react to the predator until a fatal attack is in progress. The more aware herd member is more likely to survive, of course. But its offspring will still be vastly outnumbered by the odds once the herd reaches a certain size in relation to its predators.

Mindful (aware) humans are often labelled as "paranoid", "pessimistic", "conspiracy-theorists", "critical", "manipulative" and so on. Like the ungulate herd, the mass of human beings live socially and contentedly in the daily process of working for sustenance, eating, copulating and reproducing. Leaders ascend to power by applying their minds for good or evil to attain dominance. Mindfulness can be applied to antisocial as well as philanthropic ideologies and actions.
I believe the first use of mindfulness in tribal societies gave rise to the powerful dispensers of anesthetic herbs and unguents to ease the inevitable pains and traumas of daily life as hunters, gatherers, herders or cultivators. These were the earliest human scientists who observed, somehow remembered and applied herbal and/or mineral remedies. These same leaders eventually merged with those who developed the first ideologies about life, death and Nature. The deep-rooted reverence for religion may well come from its alliance with healers, who are still revered in societies worldwide. Methods of verbal or signed transmission of this earliest science, presented as mystery, magic or divine intervention,  led to dynastic power within groups.
If mind and mindfulness are 100% natural, then science and ideas are also. However, the human brain easily confuses scientific and philosophical solutions to human questions as a path to personal immortality. While this desire for immortality may also be natural, it is not necessarily practical in the sense of furthering well being for all the living. Personal selfishness and greed often transcend mindfulness. This is an example of the struggle between mindfulness and natural animal fear of the unknown. Fear undermines the effective use of progressive mindfulness for the betterment of the human species.
Fear also fuels the use of mind in questions about human origins and human exceptionalism. Humans are exceptional in their use of mind to develop technology which enables populations to overpopulate their natural ecological spaces. Dubai is a good contemporary example. But what use is Dubai to the average human being? The answer is simple to the simplest human mind. What has enabled the development of Dubai? An autocratic religion based in fear of the most draconian morality wielded by aristocrats in possession of power over a toxic natural resource (oil). This natural development by the use of mind to rise to power and exploit human fear can only be overturned by an opposing use of mindfulness to liberate those who are oppressed from the fear which enslaves them. That, as we can see in the current state of the Muslim world, is a tall order which may not be realized before other catastrophic events lead to a less benign human evolution.
Extinction of entire species is also 100% natural. While obliteration of species by man's relentless predation can be seen as natural as well, Nature itself has a way of obliterating species, such as homo sapiens. Even if humans devise solutions to the destruction of the atmosphere by fossil fuel use, combined with deforestation, The inevitable death of Earth's star will lead to the inevitable death of Earth itself. This is not necessarily a long term proposition. Unlike the constant heat of a controlled petrochemical burner, the sun's thermo-nuclear power is much more unpredictable. Human minds are just beginning to investigate the constants of solar dynamics and its anomalies. However, it is clear from what we know that our star's life-giving properties are also its lethal properties. This too is 100% natural.
Mindfully living with these ideas after educating one's mind to them is not easy. Ignorance, while yielding nasty side effects, is indeed more blissful. Perhaps that is the core human choice, which will ultimately undo our species. Perhaps that explains today's rush to religious fundamentalism and anti-scientific superstitions. Perhaps it will prove natural for human beings, like lemmings, to blissfully crowd themselves to a violent, choking and starving oblivion. Perhaps. My own mindfulness prevents me from speculating beyond what I can see through the eyes of what I already know. In the meantime, I can use my mindfulness to pull whatever joy I can from each moment of my existence.

Watch this video for some study information.
There are many YouTube docs which try to inspire deep terror over human depopulation. They are usually motivated by religious, cultural or political narrowness of vision. The general theme is this: "We will lose out."
A recent doc I watched went on about European birthrates in decline to below 2 children per woman when statistically plotted to a median. Women in predominantly Muslim countries have a median birthrate of about 8 children per woman. The premise of the video was that culture cannot be maintained in its status quo at a birthrate under 2. Therefore, it extrapolated, migration or invasion by Muslims would inevitably overtake and destroy European civilization.
This may very well be true, but blaming it on European women becoming less limited by having too many children is not where the blame should lie. European women are among the healthiest and best educated on the planet. Their transition from a self-image based in being a dependent breeder for dominant men to being an independent person who may or may not have a child with or without a husband is at the very core of the progress of women in Europe and elsewhere.
This does not please many religious men and women in Europe, who see themselves increasingly marginalized as regressive and patriarchal. Brexit is considered by many smart thinkers in U.K. as a declaration by Brits most effected by patriarchal religion in the form of Islamic immigration. Brits in small cities throughout England have seen the regressive effects of religion in heavily Muslim neighborhoods of cities with lower median incomes than flashy cosmopolitan London.
Some media in U.K., heavily influenced by Saudi and Pakistani money, point to the Poles as the destabilizing influence which led to Brexit due to their dominance in skilled trades. Poles, despite their rooted Catholic religiosity, are not contributing to high birthrates. Polish women in U.K. have a birth rate of 2.13 children as opposed to the 1.9 birth rate of native British women.  The Muslim birth rate in U.K. is at least 3.0. But there are ample documentary videos in which Brits on the ground have been interviewed. In these docs, Brits overwhelming refer to the alienation created by Islamic immigration and population boom in some urban areas as the most critical influence upon their Brexit vote. And for good reasons.
Depopulation myths are perpetrated by racists, ethno-centrists, capitalists and misogynists alike. Isn't that interesting? Why? Well, one motivation in all of these groups is most likely fear of the liberation of women from male domination. Racists and ethno-centrists  resent 'their women' mating with people of other racial or cultural groups. Capitalists maintain that a higher birthrate is necessary for 'growth', but growth for whom? The answer is growth for the wealthy men who run the world. They narcissistically assert that they raise all human quality of life with their greed. There is no solid evidence to support this. Misogynists see a higher birthrate as a fulfillment of the role of women as house slaves and not equal competitors for incomes and social influence.
Europe and the U.S. had been doing fine with a declining birth rate. In fact, lowering the birth rate may be the major factor which will maintain our human ecology on Earth. The fact is that the declining birth rate and the rise of intelligent young women has given rise to politicians like Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. In England, Theresa May. In Germany, Angela Merkel. These politicians are riding the tide of liberated women in society. They have no parallels in the Muslim world. They have no parallels in patriarchal China or patriarchal Russia, despite governmental attempts there to influence the birth rate.
Depopulation has been used as an excuse for allowing mass illegal migration into Europe by predominantly Muslim migrants. We have already seen the impact of this upon liberated young European women who are not locked away at home with many children. They are becoming intimidated to stay at home in the evening and to fear walking alone in public. I suggest that depopulation myths are intended to push back against feminism in The West. In a world where mechanization will soon replace a significant part of manual workers, it defies logic (and math) to claim that more people than we already have at a population of  approximately 7 billion are needed. In fact, our increasing human population may ultimately be our undoing as a species.

The human species is at a threshold to a new era. Not a pleasant era. The picture above is from Bangladesh. People living in stacked concrete sewer pipes.

Bangladesh has about 170 million people, or about half the U.S. population, living in 2% of the area of the U.S.. In other words, it is 25 times more populous than the U.S.. Bangladesh has 6% of the annual GDP of the U.S.. So, you have 25 times the number of people per square mile and 1/16 the financial resources per person. That financial productivity is directly related to resources.

Bangladesh is a parliamentary constitutional republic, not a caliphate, but it is predominantly Muslim. It is socially conservative with orthodox Islam practiced in areas of the country as a tradition. Girls are commonly married off at ages 13-15. Female genital mutilation is common. Male polygamy is also common. The high birthrate of children to abandoned child-mothers accounts for much of  its crippling poverty.
In short, Bangladesh represents a part of the world which has not advanced into a post-religious or co-religious scientific age. Bangladesh has not advanced beyond patriarchal/misogynist culture, which would largely be effected by a diversion from Islamic orthodoxy. Free speech in Bangladesh is currently under attack by Islamic traditionalists. Violence associated with Islam has led to the deaths of journalists and gay activists at the hands of religious fanatics recently. The government has also been clamping down on any speech it interprets as anti-Islamic.

The accelerator which boosted Europe out of an overpopulated, religiously dominated culture, like the Bangladesh of today, was plague. The decimation of the upper echelons of society along with an even greater decimation of the overabundant worker population furthered The Reformation and gave rise to a middle class through guild formation. Today's advancements in pharmacology in the scientific West has largely deflated the effects of disease in accelerating cultural reformation. It has also enabled higher birthrates in undeveloped nations. Hence the burgeoning human population in the planet's least developed areas.

Think of population as weight on a scale. The balancing point of the scale is the planet's health.

On one side of the scale is the population of the planet which produced the technology and products which promote planetary health. That population uses more resources per person but also maintains resources more efficiently. So the net effect over the whole population is less damaging to the environment. In other words, waste is purified. Water is efficiently distributed and paid for by users. Agriculture is increasingly efficient. Taxes are collected and applied to public assets generally, despite marginal corruption. And so on.

On the other side of the scale is the population of nations through Asia, Africa and South America which is growing more rapidly and already is beginning to outweigh the other side in terms of efficiencies and natural resources. Inefficient farming, water and air pollution, decimation of forests, destructive mining techniques, use of polluting fuels, etc.. That population is actually being supported by and encouraged to grow by the developed population.

What will happen when the stress on the fixed balancing point (Earth's fixed natural resources and atmosphere) causes it to collapse? The answer is simple: Chaos. I believe we are seeing the beginning of that chaos in diffuse forms. I believe ISIS is a form of that chaos. I believe the constant marginally violent demonstrations of vested minority groups globally are forms of that chaos. When human beings are sufficiently stressed, social fabric tears apart in favor of individual survival impulses.

The uneducated and culturally indoctrinated tend to see an increase of reproduction through subjugated women as a hedge against deprivation, when it actually accelerates deprivation of all. So the impoverished human population, when aided by medicine and food from the wealthy population, are actually threatening the well being of the whole human population. While this approach to poverty makes wealthy humans feel better, it is not a solution to the long range problem. In fact, it is an accelerator of destruction

The only effective accelerator of planetary and human health is liberation of women through education and birth control. In the developed world, the promotion of liberated women into power has not led to a change in the approach toward women in the impoverished world. Modern feminism, in fact, is pushing an agenda which is exactly opposite to what will contribute to population stabilization and planetary health.

Defending religion and culture over science is entirely counterproductive. The chant of "Islamophobia" among feminists is an example of the absurdly counterproductive. Blaming vaccination science for autism is another example of counterproductive feminism, especially when current science tends to point to the age of male sperm as a contributing factor. Women are indeed the leaders to a better future for humankind, but those leaders are women  who are educated in science and who are liberated from seeing themselves as birth-mothers above all else.

Modern feminism in pop culture is pure Stockholm Syndrome, which is even bringing down advancements in Stockholm itself. It is an unconscious expression of fear, not intelligence. It is appeasement in the face of religious and cultural threats to women and scientific remedies to great challenges to human survival ahead. It is the abandonment of the greater good for childish denial of the sheer weight of the threats to the planet and our species.

The key to any financial power in a capitalist society is equity. Equity, assets which you own free and clear like cash or real estate which has no loans against it, is the platform from which you can securely build wealth. Without equity, you have nothing. You can easily become homeless or a dependent upon the state or your extended family. Risky investments which are not insured or are tied to major fluctuating trends are not real equity. Stocks and bonds are fine for investing excess equity, but they are risky investments for a person with no basic financial independence. They are a form of gambling.

The current failure of capitalism in the U.S. and Europe is the parasitic digestion and hoarding of equity by individuals who play the system. This is accelerated by the role of advertising and corporate media ownership. While economists know that equity is essentially the same as wealth, they have colluded with stock markets and banks to preach the gospel of leverage to the people. This is shifting equity to the people who already hold the most equity. It is sucking equity away from you, a person with limited or no equity.

The religious aspect of capitalism, conveyed through non-profit capitalists, a growing group of corporate oxymoronic entities which are born from tax codes, preaches a gospel of Christian-based 'sharing' through spending. The U.S. economy is currently a service economy which lives on consumer spending. It thrives on you and others constantly spending money on things you do not need rather than saving up equity (cash in the bank or in your home). Meanwhile, this religious form of capitalism preaches against taxes and for privatization of public services and infrastructure, which we all need. Why? Because they are actually not non-profits. They pay their staff with wealthy capitalist backing and contributions, which also come from your equity.

As soon as your debt exceeds your liquid equity, you are enslaved. You owe 'them'. Just like being indebted to a lone-shark. The 'legitimate' lenders won't break your legs. They will simply break your soul. They will brand you as unreliable. They will undermine your future attempts at freedom through equity. They own you. They then can easily also own your government. Then they can further control you to do what they want you to do, like go to war against other enslaved people for the further gain of your greedy masters.

Liberation through equity is one peaceful way to fight back against capitalist enslavement. How do you liberate yourself through equity? It is simple. First stop spending funds on things you do not need. You must sit down and assess what you do need. Not what you want, but what you need. This is not always as easy as it sounds. If you have been spoiled by your mad-spending or better-off parents, you may think you need a new car, foreign travel, new clothes, etc.. In fact, you have been brainwashed into thinking these are needs. They are actually wants, promoted by capitalists who profit from them. They and their advertiser operatives know how to play you.

What everyone needs is simply stated. Everyone needs a secure place to live, good daily nutrition, a good night's sleep, some entertainment, some regular social/sexual life. That's it. It does not matter how these are attained, as long as they are attained and paid for without incurring debt.

People do not need expensive pets. They do not need new cars. They do not need a new kitchen if their kitchen works. They do not even need children. Children themselves are needy. Parents should not be. A parent with secure equity who wants to raise a healthy child selflessly is a better parent. A woman who simply feels compelled hormonally to have a child because her clock is ticking is not a mindful person. She is not likely to be a selfless parent. Add her self-centered nature to economic enslavement, and you get a disadvantaged mother with a dependent child, who may well be conditioned to become disadvantaged.

Attaining new economic independence is a decision which requires commitment to mindful action and hard work. Equity builds upon itself. This is how rich people transfer wealth generationally in capitalism. It is the basis of a class system, commonly denied in current capitalist societies. Class systems exist. Rich people lie when they say they do not exist. That lie is one of the tools that keeps class systems going. Rich people know that they will be less rich with the fall of class. They fight taxation whether they act like egalitarians or not. The richer they are, the further removed they are from the evil that keeps them rich. This makes established wealth very difficult to overcome. Today it is often disguised as Liberalism.

Dr. Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka

I woke up in a bad mood today. Then seeing that Jill Stein has cut though the bull of the current U.S. Presidential campaign by taking on Ajamu Baraka as a VP candidate made my day. I feel great.

As we should all know by now if we can read or understand WikiLeaks revelations, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the same beast in different costumes. The Donald's costume is all male and prickly. Hillary's costume is all grouchy mom who knows better and enables her lovable errant husband. The reality for both is that they subscribe to American Exceptionalism and The Almighty Dollar. They both believe bombing our way to a position of superiority is preferable to minding our own goddam business. They support self-aggrandizing moguls (Warren Buffett or George Soros. anyone?)  and hedge funders who bet on the nasty things they do to get even richer.

The Trump-vs-Hillary paradigm has become the usual social media pissing contest. Snarky GIF's and equally snarky retorts. All of it is very high school actually. I am ashamed of my occasional impulse to get dragged into it. After all, unarmed Black kids are getting shot, and the police lobbies seem clueless about the need for gun control. Drug cartels are boosting heroin cheaper than beer. Labor unions are becoming the new corrupting elite. Wall Street, the Federal Reserve and the big banks are conspiring to keep you poorer and themselves richer. And the Federal government is helping them all do it in the name of fake free-market capitalism.

So, do you really have time to fart around on Facebook to win points against your "friends" by being cooler, more politically correct or more trendy?

The Green Party is offering you two sane candidates. The Presidential candidate, Jill Stein, is an experienced politician who has run for office before. She understands government. She is a physician. She believes in environmental activism, pacifism and social/economic justice. She is neither flashy nor flighty. In fact, she is so level-headed, she seems a bit boring, but I like that. In my experience, the boring people are the ones who do all the heavy lifting in society.

Ajamu Baraka, a Chicago human rights campaigner, is African-American. He has worked primarily in the non-profit sector. He is neither radical nor overly conciliatory on human rights and pacifism. He is strongly against the militarism in our country's foreign policy, something that Hillary Clinton is known to strongly support. He has openly criticized some Black leaders for being too ready to court White power. He has advocated for victims of natural disaster, like Hurricane Katrina. His position has been based in the ethical need to care for our own citizens first, before adopting the whole world or sticking our nose in. Amen to that. He also opposes our politicians' unseemly relationship with Saudi Arabia.

Most developed parliamentary democracies have versions of the Green Party in government. We do not. What does that say about us? What does that say about our commitment to the planet? What does that say about our political and social priorities? What does it say about our commitment to each other? It says that money is ruling this country.

I believe that politics should not be a spectator sport between two teams, despite the media's penchant to promote them this way to us in America. This is a way in which the powerful and corrupt party insiders dominate us. It has worked well for them for a long time. They will not willingly surrender the power to the people. The people will have to change politics in this country by voting on issues and conscience, not betting on outcomes.

Wednesday, August 3, 2016

I support neither Trump nor Clinton for President. Bernie Sanders, despite his questionable physical hardiness, represented some of my ideals. I would have voted for him. I didn't feel the Bern. I am simply a social democrat in the way of my northern European cousins. Putting aside the "Hitler or Hitlery" nonsense which pundits are happily fanning on both sides of desperate Republican and Democrat campaigns, funded by killer capitalism, I see some rational alternative courses ahead for ethical Americans engaged in their own governance.

1. Vote Green Party.

Yes, I know. Jill Stein has the media magnetism of a flat sheet of paper. She is being accused of anti-science by some scientifically illiterate atheists. She is a licensed physician. Her anti-science is rocket science, compared to the average American, college-educated or not. The choice of voting for Stein is a choice for a female candidate. It is a choice for environmentalism. It is a choice for social ethics. It is also a choice for a better political system with more than two bully parties.

2. Abstain For Change.

I have chosen to abstain in good conscience during many democratic processes in my profession and in civic associations. Sometimes issues are funneled into bipolar debates by powerful subgroups in an organization. Sound familiar? Taking a deep breath, searching my conscience and abstaining has sometimes been the best ethical choice for me. In the 2016 campaign, abstinence will definitely effect change in the election. If Bernie supporters abstain in significant numbers, the corrupt Democrat elite will be crushed for future campaigns. If Trump is elected, he will be powerless in the face of a hostile Congress. Impeachment may be his future fate. That would send an earthquake through the Republican establishment. That would stimulate change as well. Realistically, the status quo would most likely be sustained for four more years.

3. Go Libertarian.

Not my favorite choice, but a realistic one. Gary Johnson is a standard Libertarian. He was a Republican governor of a Democrat state (New Mexico) in the vein of Bill Weld and current Gov Charlie Baker of Massachusetts. As a Bostonian social democrat, I love Republican governors in Massachusetts. Why? Because they clean up the corrupt excesses of Democrat governors who collude in corruption with our overwhelmingly Democrat legislature. That corruption always leaves us broke with a lousy infrastructure, as it has been in the wake of Deval Patrick. Gary Johnson is running with Bill Weld. He can't be too far over the line of socially responsible democracy. And, Libertarians are anti-militarism, because they are all about the tax money.

Cheer up. There are choices. Let the shriekers and bullies in both camps pollute Facebook and Twitter with humorless bombasts. Sit back and think about what can really happen if you choose to vote in a change-stimulating way. Neither The Donald nor Hillary will bring significant change from the two-rail track of hawkish militarism, which is bringing us closer to Saudi Arabia and China ... and farther from world peace. They will not liberate the U.S. government from Wall Street and IMF-committed banks. Citizens United is just the tip of that iceberg. Hillary's claim that she will change that is a distraction from her real backers and their global agenda.

Our current path is disastrous. Our civil society is cracking apart. Despite their rhetoric,  both major parties have brought us here. That includes our current President, who promised seismic change eight years ago. Unfortunately, the earthquake he helped roll out has cracked our civil discourse. Trump is just one of the beasts who have crawled out of those cracks. I have decided what course I will take to participate in change. I encourage you to do the same.
